Ships Watch Services
Ships Watch services are legendary. Simply put, all you have to do is remember your clothes, toothbrush and your keyless door code. We take care of most everything else.
Ships Watch maintains its own laundry to provide fresh towels and bed linens weekly. Linens and towels, including beach towels, are provided in abundance to each house. We also provide a full-size washer and dryer in each house for your use to clean clothing or other personal items during your stay here.
Beach chairs and beach umbrellas are provided to each house, as is deck furniture (chairs, benches, tables).
Kitchens are well equipped to satisfy the needs of both the less formal vacation crowd as well as the Thanksgiving meal crowd. It’s all there, whether for backyard take-out or gourmet French.
We even provide a “starter kit” of items should you arrive too tired to pick things up on the way to Ships Watch. Soap, paper towels and toilet paper, trashcan bags all make your life easier upon your arrival.
Maintenance is continuous. We have a staff of maintenance techs on call and ready to correct the unexpected little things that can ruin a vacation. They try to address any larger items or concerns as quickly as reasonably possible.
Cleaning is done once each week, along with furnishing fresh towels and linens. When you leave, or before you arrive, we conduct a thorough inspection and make repairs on the spot. Our goal is perfection.
Our Reception Center has a Concierge that is familiar with the area. If you want it and it exists on the Outer Banks, they will help you find it. They have arranged Thanksgiving dinners and Christmas trees in houses and helped plan retirement parties and wedding events.
We have valet services to help you unload and load. An advance call can schedule this service during normal working hours.
If all of this isn’t enough, we have a 24/7 emergency number for you to reach someone to address any serious unexpected problems you may have with Ships Watch and its houses after regular work hours.
Finally, our staff is regularly onsite during the normal work day to address your needs or resolve problems. A quick call or personal visit to the Reception Center will get our attention.
